It beckons me to come see its sharp tack
Which is no longer there; lodged in my heart
Because you had cast it off like a dart

It plans to stay there forever until
The pain becomes too much that it can kill
For every time my heart starts to beat
There is something wrong; I am incomplete

Someone, something seems to be forgotten
It's because this friendship has turned rotten
The least I can do is not let that go
Now the last thing left is to let you know

I'm not angry; I sympathize with you

Whenever a lot of people imagine roses, they always imagine an eternal love, which doesn't fade. Your poem though, is the opposite and lets us realize not all love is eternal. Great write.

Roses are a symbolism of love.yet, I do agree with they do not always last eternally. They can last and last, and then one day,,,,,,they all fall.! Fade and lose their whole. Good compairason....
