Your smile gives me purpose.
I take a vow to guide you through this windy road.
I will always shelter you from harm.
Your laughter forever rings with charm.
Like a seed I shall plant you.
I will keep a watchful eye as you sprout and blossom.

My brother, my brother,
I will give you what I never had.
For a life without guidance is a life of sad.
I will hold your hand through the loudest storms,
I will hold you tight, give you all my warmth.
I will light my candle so you can see, to follow me, to victory.
I will show you the path of the way.
I will never leave you in the dark.
Never leave you astray.

My brother, my brother,
Ever since you came into this world, I was by your side.
I will give you the key to bravery; you won’t ever have to hide.
I shall carry you over the roughest waters.
Yet I will let you test them first.
My love for you is a soul in the dessert, only with more thirst.
I will be sure that you are perfect, show you your mistakes.
I will be your bridge through life; I will never let you break.
I will scold you but my anger won’t last long,
I will lead you to shed your weakness and live your life strong.

My brother, my brother,
Your smile gives me purpose.
Let me learn from you, open my eyes so I can see.
We shall take this journey together, forever,
….Just you and me.
