In the end it doesn’t matter,

I feel myself giving up,
I’m lost in the sea of lies or truth,
I no longer can find the difference,
If I was smart they say I would give in,
To all my demons fighting against me,
Those horrid little demons riding on the tide of doubt,
With the vastness of the sea surrounding me,
Soon I may be drowned.

Whether it’s wrong or right,
In the end it doesn’t matter,

In the end I’m always engulfed in betrayal,
“You will never be loved!”
The waves of their voices repeat,
Up and down I’m carried far from the ground,
Wet, cold, abandon, shaking in the water,
I’m coming to except my fate,
As the demon’s grow louder,
I don’t have anything else left to believe.

Whether it’s wrong or right,
In the end it doesn’t matter,

Tears for companions,
I let myself sink,
Water rushing in my mouth, down my throat,
Stillness all around, strangely claim underneath,
I’ve lost the fight,
All the demons must be right,
For what they say is all I’ve ever known,
I simply can’t refute it any longer.

Whether it’s wrong or right,
In the end it doesn’t matter.

I can feel the pain and sadness in this poem

of self questioning. I can empathise with you. have been there myself.

You have expressed your self very well. Good read and write.

no light at the end of the tunnel, Somedays could not even see the tunnel.!

IN THE END IT DOES MATTER..

YOU are important and must put YOU first.

Good luck ,Day at a time sometimes an hour at a time.

God Bless You

Dougnut

I thought this poem was deep and very well put together.
