You told me I was the grandest lady of he land.
We rode on white horses up and down the seashore,
Until the day you were called to war.
My heart wilted like a black rose in the cold snow,
Now i see your grave stone in flanders field next to others row by row.
The sorow.
My heart is now cold,
The last words you told.
Were my finest lady i love you and i will return next year.
My beautiful lady do not shed a tear,
Have no fear.

A wonderful write, a tearful journey. A poem that both rips me apart and puts me back together again, from one word to the next...

Love,
