I can’t take it.
Fighting the day not to spend with you.
You don’t solve the problem,
Because there isn’t a day where I don’t want to be ok.
It’s best if you stay far away.
All the bridges we built together to solve my problems,
You have only made them fall.
So when my world is caving in, I won’t watch it burn to the ground.
I’m sick of taking the fast road.
You aren’t my easy way out.
I’m going to let go too soon, I’m going to step off,
But I have no ground.
And no one is going to stop me, because I turned the tables.
When I fall no one will hear it,
They will listen, but no one will pay attention to the last words,
They just wait until I hit my face.
I’ll just lie there all alone, the way I want it.
I need to change my mind and let it all go.
Just leave it behind like I always do,
Start again, run away, it was better than my worst.
And I’ll just skip the hurt,
I won’t look outside the window.
I’ll just run to the fast road of freedom with no passion.
It’s too much to take,
Can never look back.
But I do, because I let go too soon,
So I have to look back,
The danger was better,
Maybe I undertook the tears,
And drank the fireworks to fast.
I was too greedy.
And it was such a pity,
I can’t say what I want to do.
Wasted away a sea of feelings,
Dropping off the top of my world,
Falling on you.
Down,
There I go,
Don’t you care where I’ll be?
Because I’m not home,
I’m not waiting.
It would be so much better if you would only not care,
But that’s too much to ask of you.
Maybe the best thing to do is my doubt,
To look back,
Before the running even happens.
When you talk it’s just a joke,
I can’t take it any more.
But there you go, see if I care,
I’ve been here before.
And as long as you’re gone I’ll stay here,
There is no where else to hide.
Just don’t come for me. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 196 [topic] => 43 [informant] => EvaLastingRose [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

Well, I'm sorry, but this was a really difficult read to me...
maybe formating a few paragraphes might have made it easier to read...

Also I sometimes had a bit of trouble guessing what you're trying to say, but maybe I just didn't get it right..

What I really like about this poem, though, is your open way of speech...
it gives me as your reader a quite vivid taste of the frustration you captured within this poem...

Nice work
