And I have a clue why
I’m still attached to her
My feelings didn’t die
I told her I was sorry
And that I was done with her
But as it always happens
I was sad for saying those words
I told her that I wouldn’t write
And I don’t expect a letter back
Though it’s beginning to feel weird
Because all her love is what I lack
I sing “Pathetic”
For I know I am
I would really like to see her
But I don’t think I will again
So I reminisce
To pass the time
Because now all I am
Is everything but fine
The days come and go
And I’m getting weak
The only cure that could save me
Would be if I could hear her speak
But she’s so far away
And out of my life
That last letter messed me up
And that’s why

I can relate, but that's what makes us stronger and helps us move on.

Oh yes, you know, you really said some valuable things here, very heartfelt write. I like the title, and the poem.. it flowed really well, the way I read it. Good job too. I read poems slow, I dont want to miss a beat.
