Through the dark gloomy lust filled streets
I walked my way stumbling and fumbling
over the pot holes of greed, obscene obsessions,
addiction, amoral mobs; counting steps, foiling a fall head-long.

A silhouette of a little fellow followed his way behind me
mimicking my moves with mirror-perfection; the smile on his face
uttered an unbound admiration for me - cautioning me not
to fall head-long to avert the little fellow get hurt.

Falling into the pot holes is like me being a sitting obstacle
to the little fellow, following me like an innocent lamb in
a strange land; avoiding my over-conscious steps from slipping hither
and thither, I however walked alone with an eye over the little fellow.

Wondered in my solitude; being admired can never be a cool-cream walk
when that little fellow is none but your own flesh and blood
