again my heart starts beating
at the same cross road
where I met my last love
so familiar is this place
so familiar my heart does race
excited again to feel my heart beat
leaving behind me the other memory
but afraid to completely let it go
to lock that chapter closed
so hard and long I hold onto things
yet, again my heart beats
in a soft gentle race
it picks up its pace
though met only a stranger
its just like before
an instant feeling
he’s got my heart beating
a mysterious man
of eyes so bronze and then,
a smile I cant seem to shake
and the words of a man of strength
oh how I want to see
more of this man of mystery
still, only at the beginning
where my hearts barely beating-
at this cross road again
this same place I don’t come often,
here, another man sits in the window
another chance I get to go
just don’t want my window shattered again
don’t want again, my heart to be broken
shattered into blazing pieces
was my last window of open feelings
but another stands in this window again
repaired, but fragile is its frame-
oh dear stranger,
heart pounding purser,
be careful with my heart
handle it with care-
and slowly, I will come to you a little closer
and open myself to you a little bit more [comments] => 3 [counter] => 176 [topic] => 43 [informant] => Adelle [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )
