Glad you can join me, come on in
Be prepared to learn about your so-called friend,
Words can’t describe what you will soon see,
Scratch out what you once knew before
Cause this is the real me…

So what are you in for?
Where are you, you ask?
Somewhere no one ventures,
Enter a place behind my mask

The gates will open to a place of mystery
Consider yourself lucky
This will be marked down in history
From this point on the world will know the truth,
A girl is disconnected like a phone in the telephone booth
All will learn why she would rather be gone
Nothing more than a goodbye letter found at early dawn

A scene from a horror movie, you jokingly see thrilling
Well, my life is a movie that is paused on the killing,
And let me just tell you its not exciting nor fine
My life is a strange kind of normal not even Webster can define

Watch out for my fears, they will eat you alive
Come one come all watch her try survive
From the panic that slowly creeps up your back
Every time you swallow, ready waiting to attack

As you race your hand across the cold, hard walls
The endless lyrics is all that you recall
Let me explain the meaning for this
You see music is the only thing inside me that exists

Stepping over the demons, chained to the wall
Take a look at my past, ignored by all
See that little girl as happy as can be,
Let’s just say I learned young
Inside a locket, that lost its key
Hear a scream, loud crashes that don’t belong
Don’t worry I was used to it
Forced to keep quiet and forced to be strong
Let me introduce you,
I don’t think you have met
This is my father,
Haunting my life in a way I will never forget

Overwhelmed aren’t you, not what you expected
Didn’t know the real me, that’s what I suspected
Think the journey’s over
Well you’re in for a surprise
Get ready for more secrets, get ready for more lies

Watch the warning signs, flashing lights along your path
For you might stumble upon the dragon that is my wrath
Over to your left just below the thundery skies
Lies the peaceful waterfall, with secrets well hidden in disguise
What you may not realize is that the water are my tears,
Tears that I have held in for way to many years

As you walk through the hallway glancing at walls all around
Notice the pictures all hung upside down,
Why is this you ask?
Well its simple you see
My life as been fake since birthday number three
Frame by frame cardboard cut out I stand
A smile that is so perfect it had to be planned

Comfortable with this place you take a closer look
The floors form a design, like a cover of a book
This pattern is made up with all my scars,
Well you helped create them so lets just call them “ours”

Just when you think you have seen it all,
Your knees start to shake, almost collapse and fall
On the walls written in blood you read
“What I Really Think” with other words that bleed
As you read this remember it comes from the heart
Everything you say, it tears me apart
Your eyes widen as you hit the first line,
Appreciate these words, I can honestly say there all mine

You may see a happy girl on the outside
But look deep within
And you will see a girl who is dying to break out of her own skin,
You sit there and laugh like it’s all just a game
When your unaware just how horrible the pain
Kills like a bone that is too weak to heal
And loses the feeling of love that is real
Think everyone is your enemy, out to get you
But everyone knows you are the enemy, its clearer than the tattoo
That will stay on your body, like a sign Stay Away
For people who unlike you don’t like to get betrayed
You bring me down with no hesitation,
Well your words turned static
Time for me to find a new station
I give up my own life for the sake of you
Send thank you cards to my address
But I’m warning you I am through
I am through with this feeling that doesn’t go away
For once in my life I want to walk to skies that aren’t gray
But no, no that isn’t how it goes,
I will always be stuck in a world that I can’t control
Just understand that you make my life worse
Stay away and leave me alone!
You’re a witches deadly curse

I signed my name in one shaky line
Wishing and praying that this would be the sign
That I’m not okay stuck in traffic on this road
Can someone please tell me am I missing some code?

As the room turns black,
Yes you’re free to go,
All is said is said, no more to show
So as I pass by you, just sitting with a glare
Remember ever detail of the night and beware
That yes my mask its on but you know what’s its hiding
A life filled with anger, a life that is colliding

I liked the honesty in this. Its flowed nicely as well. We all better get out of your way if this is your first poem. I see alot of talent within your lines and message.
