[bodytext] => They sit on a wooden paper bench,
Framed in a brocade Of paper flowers, Her hands fold on her lap, The hem of her white paper dress And a glimpse of petticoat beneath Drift flirtingly in the breeze, Her eyes turn demurely away, As he holds out to her, In his proper paper suit And high collar, Doffed hat pressed against his breast, A single paper rose. Would You, Be Mine? The words float above them, Like a cloud, while Cupid, In a corner with a bent paper wing, Smiles over them. Beneath them, in another corner, In smudged, faded pencil, The words written, Love, Marvin. A century later Marvin still loves her. Flowers and love last forever On old valentines. Would you, be mine?
