Wanting something so badly
You can feel it, -- so close
Within reach, yet still so far
Forbidding that feeling, you want most.
So hard to resist
His touch, his gaze
Being gently kissed
That wall is slowly raised.
Retreat, to the safe side
So far into darkness
Ill run away, Ill hide
Some place lovell never find me.
I want it, but I fear it
Cause nothing hurts more--
Cuts through flesh & bone
Straight to the soul, right to the core.
Always lusting, afraid to love
Wanting to abandon this loneliness--
Count my lucky stars above
Ill pay the price, whatever the cost
One by one, stars crash & burn
Forever alone when all in love is lost
This isolated heart of mine, forever will yearn..

Strong piece, I can certainly feel the anguish in the words you have written.
Love is a wonderful thing, don't be afraid to grab it when you can.
