JUST LET ME KNOW
I SEE YOU WITH MY EYES
I TOUCH YOU WITH MY HEART
BUT I AM STILL NO CLOSER TO KNOWING
HOW YOU FEEL WHEN WE PART
I TRY TO REACH OUT TO YOU
BUT SOMETHING HOLDS ME BACK
COULD IT BE BECAUSE I KNOW
"THOSE FEELINGS" FOR ME YOU LACK
I WANT TO HOLD YOU IN MY ARMS
TO KISS AND CARESS YOU TOO
BUT MORE THAN THIS I WANT TO FEEL
YOU FEEL THE SAME WAY AS I DO
I LONG TO HOLD YOUR HAND IN MINE
AND TO SEE YOU LOOK AT ME
NOT JUST AS A CASUAL FRIEND
BUT AS SOMEONE YOU LONG TO SEE
I TRY SO HARD TO STAY AWAY
I TELL MYSELF NOT TO RING
BUT I MAY AS WELL TELL A CANARY
NOT TO OPEN ITS BEAK TO SING
I SHOULD HAVE JUST LET YOU BE
I THOUGHT I WAS OVER YOU
WHEN I CAME BACK FROM HOLIDAY
I THOUGHT I COULD START ANEW
BUT MEMORIES OF THE TIME WITH YOU
CAME FLOODING BACK AGAIN
STILL I HOPED THAT I COULD SEE YOU
JUST AS A VERY DEAR FRIEND
THE TIME THAT NOW I SPEND WITH YOU
I FEEL I AM FINDING THE REAL ME
SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN LOST SO LONG
I NEEDED YOU TO HELP ME SEE
WE ALL NEED SOMEONE IN OUR LIVES
SOMEONE WHO BELIEVES IN WHAT WE DO
SOMEONE WHO TRUSTS IN GOD
AND KNOWS HE WILL SEE US THROUGH
WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES
AND WE ALL LOSE OUR WAY
I HOPED THAT BY BEING WITH YOU
I WOULD FIND COURAGE TO FACE A NEW WAY
I HAVE OPENED UP MY HEART
AND LET YOU INSIDE
MY LOVE HAS NO PRIDE WITH YOU
I HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE
ITS ALL UP TO YOU
YOU CAN TELL ME TO GO
I KNOW WHEN TO FACE THE TRUTH
YOU JUST NEED TO LET ME KNOW
MAYBE I HAVE FINALLY FOUND
THE COURAGE TO BE ME
AND IF YOU WANT ME I'LL BE AROUND
IF THAT'S WHERE YOU WANT ME TO BE
IF THERE IS ANY SPACE IN YOUR HEART
FOR ANYONE BUT OUR FATHER ABOVE
REMEMBER ME I AM THE ONE
WHO WANTS TO SHARE YOUR LOVE!

Sometimes when we feel we need someone to help us find ourselves that's when we need most to stand alone in our journey. Remember you are your own person. Do not forget to stay true to yourself and not depend solely on a loving relationship, with anyone but God, to make you see who you are. If you depend too much on someone to find yourself it may not truly be you that you find but rather you as that person wishes you to be. Be careful.
