Array ( [sid] => 11999 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Welcome to my Garden [time] => 2003-02-05 20:00:00 [hometext] => Do you know at the present moment, Australia is in flames, and many have lost all they have, I recently found a picture of a little boy salvaging what he could, in the picture were the words "welcome to my garden", my eyes are still swelled with tears for him, and my prayers are with them all,
___________________________________ [bodytext] => A cracked stone read the words,
where the young lad's home once stood,
"Welcome to my garden", only if I could,
those words tell of his struggles,
more than I ever could explain,
he stands among the ruins,
he picture told his pain,
I am not one of his country,
but to me, he is my kin,
one thousand words can't tell it all,
but I know where he has been,
from my spirit I heard his cries,
and felt those fiery flames,
"Welcome to my garden"
here you'll find my pains,
soot lays out the pathway,
and I still see the blaze,
the fiery flame keeps burning,
the homes here are ablaze,
I cry from within the city,
and only hear faintly sounds,
have you not heard of me,
it's my land in which I'm proud,
"Welcome to my garden"
my world's in despair,
flames have burned the trails,
there is no freshened air,
Can any of you hear me,
did you see me on the news,
torn within the ruins,
my spirit feels bruised,
I here, am a child,
someone hear my cry,
my country is ablaze,
will you help me to survive,

Child in the garden,
my spirit whispers out,
you are also of my world,
and of your suffering I will shout,
I will let thee others hear you,
across the lands and seas,
don't think that you're alone,
I will make them hear your plea,
a new begining will await you,
with my love you're not alone,
Welcome to my garden,
are the carvings on his stone,

He's fighting to survive,
he has no place to live,
his hope is that we'll hear him,
will you be the one to give,
He calls to other country's,
a million miles away,
pleas' that some will hear him,
and help him through these days,
Many are evacuated,
and their home has burnt to ash,
please, save his future,
it is up to you, I ask,
his picture painted many words,
so many I can't describe,
'welcome to my garden',
as the tears ran from his eyes!
