[bodytext] => As light splays all over the dash, I looked, and there it was, An object, So beautiful to behold, Not for looks, Or for vanity, But for truth and its simplistic beauty. Simple sounds, being orchestrated As they were, Created pictures of Imperfect sounds, In floating clouds, As my eyes drift down, I start to frown And I look up... and a minutes glance Has turned into more than a mere moment's happenstance For I haven't held my breath this whole time; But I must've, for my breath now coats the air with grime. I warn myself not to trip, Not now, you're not equipped. Think this, think that, Walk this plainly lit path. See the signs? They mean this is right, You should follow signs; you shouldn't fight. But like all roads, They need someone to cast a light. ...and there goes my engine, Sputtering sounds signal the fuel's ignite; Oh, I feel so contrite.
