You were but a shadow of my heart’s desire
My love will not beak merely rust with time
I am trapped willingly with passions

May my eyes grace yours?
May my ears hear you speak?
May my arms embrace you?

A darling I have damned
My she devil, my pure angel
The most intelligent of all sins has come
Mercy on my soul for my heart knows nothing

The waltz has returned
The elegance of music
The warmth which was missed most of all

A tale of old virtues lost in sands
My story unfolding as fate twists
May I have this dance my angel?
May you twist with me as time ticks by?

Forever, the stillness of infatuation
Burning with the wick of candle flame
We shall not turn to smoke this day
We shall have a shield of roses

My mind captured
Lost within happiness, kept so quiet
A memory held so dearly it shall never be lost
And upon the clouds we dance
