Array ( [sid] => 12056 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => God [time] => 2003-02-06 16:40:00 [hometext] => My best friend wrote a poem about me, and one of the lines was 'she thanks him [god] for everything he didn't do'. i was reading it last night, and that is what inspired this poem... [bodytext] => Thank you god, for everything you ever did,
How you've given me the power to cut myself,
How you've helped me find the way,
To get through every day.

Thank you god, for showing me the real world,
For helping me not to be innocent or ignorant,
For making me see what really goes on here,
And know what others only fear.

Thank you god, for protecting them from evil,
But why you didn't see fit to protect me, i don't know,
But instead delivered me to evil,
I want to know the answeres, i know i never will.

Thank you god, for showing me who to trust,
And making me hurt from the deciet,
And making me appreciate what i've got,
Now i know what a real friend is, and what is not.

And finally, thank you god, for everything you never did,
Having me suffer all the time,
from all the sadistic minds,
Having me end my life in such a manner,
Don't apologise, it doesn't matter. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 193 [topic] => 13 [informant] => M [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Yeah, what the angle said.......
We can get angry but we must not sin from anger.......I'd like to comment to the angel for such good choice of words, and understanding past the pain of it all!
PEACE, JOY, LUV, ANGER,

Oh, emily to be truthful I enjoyed this poem. As a Christian I have asked the same questions my faith is very low at the moment. You can't blame all your problems on God Emily. God gives ppl choices. The choices that ppl have made have affected you and the choices YOU have made have affected you. Plz dont take your anger out on God. Thnx for sharing this with us.
