very saddening this was...i loved this completely. i can relate to your feelings in this (who couldn't). very nicely done!!
my motto is 'it can always be worse', so keep that in mind and don't stay down long. of course, conversely...it can always be better, but that's up to the individual to make happen.

Oh My Dear Sweet Susie Q!
Your poem reminds me of a time when I thought my life was not only slipping by but completely over..........not so sweet friend. Give yourself much time, to find yourself. Make sure of who you are before you start another relationship. For me it took 10 years....but always be true to you!
This poem was exquisite with your feelings. A glass moment that can be blown again, or lay in chips forever..........you can make it happen, but only when you're ready.

I love the glass thoughts and glass clouds, the way you've made everything seem so fragile and achieved it admirably.
Especially in the last stanza.
Glass clouds hover in the night
Lightning addresses the sky.
Gave me wonderful imagery of lightning shattering the clouds with the glass falling to earth like so many of our hopes and dreams.

| I really like the words in this poem. Glass Clouds: Did you know that before time, our ozone and atmosphere was made of a chrystaline layer, 10 miles high? That is what it reminds me of. Amazing. great job. |
