I died trying to fight it but it kept my soul

It takes me over and over again
the monster within feeds on my every move
the feeling creeps up my spine

I don't know if you take suggestions kindly..but I have some so if you're interested let me know..it's a good poem but I think a few small changes could make it better..mostly spacing..sometimes that works to give a poem more power.
