at night a horror haunts my dreams,
lay uncomfortable on a bed like spikes,
coffee turns cold as I try to awaken myself
from this life that euphinates bad dreams.

Everyday a new beginning,
each night the same prayer
to relieve myself from my plight.

Tomorrow just seconds away,
yesterday's seconds had passed away,
today... today each second lived as it's at its last.

Once the door has opened,
the demons roll in - an invitation so unresistable,
undeniable, unable to close the gate that spawns horror within.

Fear walks as lonely road on dusty streets,
a paranormal shadow unreal shallowly greets,
subdueing the demon that lives inside,
the very fear I try to hide.

I have found what it is that bothers,
it's not the new steph sisters or brothers,
nor the past pain or hard times,
there is a chameleon demonic presence inside that won't go free,
known as Kellros and I denyingly realise,

Each night screams whisper insomniac feelings,

I've had a few of these self realization moments and have discovered reinvention of oneself and adjustment from outside influences destroys those demons! Great write. Good work.
