Swept away on a gust of wind.
Shaped of little dancing feet.
And purple hearts rhyming within.
Spinning in the midst of this heat.

The urge just to go with the flow.
To this beat of such harmony.
The whispers in the clouds say they know.
The wind now forming into a gypsy.

With such grace and beauty she danced.
Around me and with kind words from the blue.
And forever more was I in a trance.
In this magical world where fairytales were true.

And smiles gleamed from their lips.
Only for my satisfaction.
Now sailing down the clouds that formed ships.
To the dream world in reenaction.

Oh why must tomorrow be closing in.
When my little world is here.
And has yet to begin.
This trail that leads no where and without fear.

But yet again another day will come.
More to be seen from this magical place.
Where love is plentiful and then some.
And I control all time and space. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 182 [topic] => 14 [informant] => ham323 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DreamsandWishes )

Oh, so soft was this! And even through its sad and torturous
sentiments, it bravely collided into a shattered beauty.

That last stanza is most effective- love the last line especially!!

Well done!
