I dont understand this feeling,
Although it has made its home in my life
I dont understand this darkness
Or why I can never find light?
I dont understand why my heart breaks
Each morning when I awake
Or why my soul feels tormented
And why my whole spirit aches?
I dont understand my own mind now
And this need to feel pain isnt clear
When I pick up the phone to ask you for help
Why I feel there is nobody near?
I am being consumed by myself now
Its eating away at me body and soul
Where once was my reason for being
Is now just an empty black hole?
I dont understand this pure sadness
What reason do I have to cry?
Others are worse off than I am
So why am I living to die?
Where once my eyes would sparkle
Are now lonely lost and afraid
As they look upon the times in my life
And viewing the messes Ive made?
People, they want to be with me
But nobody wants to stay
When I wake up in the morning
I find that theyve all gone away?
I dont understand this feeling
Though in my life it is greatly empowered
Please help me understand this feeling
Before my whole life is devoured?
