Wasted my life and been so untrue.
"When I see the blood, I'll pass over you".

I am without strength; my life almost through.
I cannot reform myself, and start life anew.
"When I see the blood, I'll pass over you".

I need help from someone: for mercy to sue.
Help me oh' Lord, and forgive my sin too.
"When I see the blood, I'll pass over you".

I need a redeamer to pay the debt due.
Is this the Christ: - the one that's in view?
"When I see His blood, I'll pass over you".

Exodus 12:13 "--and when I see the blood,
I'll pass over you.

What a unique and wonderful exegesis of Exodus 12:13

Profoundly touching and comforting. We all need the blood of the redeemer. Washed clearn no matter the crimson color of sin.

Thank you Lionel for this beautiful work of art.
So good to have you back again.
Abundant blessings
Elizabeth

Ah, the priceless GIFT, the Holy Redeeming Blood of the spotless Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. No other Way, no other truth, and none other LIFE, without the washing of our filth by Christ the LAMB.

And how brilliantly you exemplify our need of a Saviour in Him. Strange that so many churches have forgotten the power of this Holy Blood, rarely appropriated it in communion and hardly sing about it any more. Thanks for sharing, Lionel.
