Expressed Feelings

The night is over and the
Morning sun filters through
Warming inside its’ soul
A tree, where birds adorn

Flowers in the garden
Sit upon burning leaves
Expressed feelings
Come o’er
A soul cannot ignore

Those feelings are positive
And from pens, emotions
Become a strength
Of character, a symbol of love
That lives inside a healthy heart

But often times, poets may write
Some sadness or longing
Sometimes readers see a rain
Or of emotions, it may or may not
Resemble anger or sorrow
Or grains of pain

Some poems, they may be happier
And satisfy a soul
They may help others to engage
Into life some words
To lend its’ ring
And marry hope
Perhaps wear more meaning

Write, write; write those poems
Some easily or not easily
They may penetrate a mind
And give life to a heart
And when those words are read
Deeply, some can teach
Or at least be soothing
And keep their restless
Feelings from falling dead

I’ve learned from ranks miles above me
From old decorative sublime
Yet not from living famous poets
Although, perhaps, some words of mine
May echo theirs in time

I write with heavens’ music
And as I listen to those songs
I hear many times from trees
And I sing the same tune
Winter winds can bring

M pen sees the world
For what it is
And I listen well
Sometimes I expect it
it all to be of beauty
Still, I keep my hearts
Eyes open
To see

A truth that comes
From humble pens
Where sometimes clouds
Appear
Are words that must be
Expressed
Even if showers are seen
From inside a heart

Some poems you read
Even on your own page
May bring tears from inside
Your eyelids where they start
But let not your soul become
Depressed

For some poems that you may read
From poets come ink from their pens
To write with character
And of strength
And virtues, at times they have
Increased with more and more
Happiness

Perhaps at one time
Or another, we poets can
Relieve, some suffering today
And maybe some souls
Can find positive truths within

Poems, poems and more poems
May just bring higher hopes
That can help someone go forward
Perhaps make at least
One reader laugh or smile
Regardless of a pens
Circumstance

A very deep write. It displays a sense of observation of the conditions all poets face, and you give very good advice to anyone who may decide to pick up a pen and write something down one day that comes from the heart. Nicely done.
