Miracles all around in Summer sun.
Stop a while, slowly, don't run.
Watch nature preform it's thing
Come down to Earth, let's sing.

Da, da, did ja eva see
A squash bloom kiss the rain
Fold up it's yeller blooms
Embracing to kiss the rain.

Twas jus a little seed
performing it's magical deed.
Soon it burst forth to grow
Bringing nourishment, don't cha know?

It's leaves healthy seeds for next year
doing it's thing beautifully in Earth's Atmosphere.
It's part of life's cycle to sustain
Happy jus to kiss the rain.

For those that don't know squash is it's vegetable.

Well I do know what a squash is. And nature is wonderful. A nice poem, and we all rely on these things to survive. Sue x

This is a delightful poem emy.!
How wonderful it must be to own a garden and potter around in it.
Enviable.!
Oh yes I definitely know squashes. Love them, especially the Italians.
Your lovely poem is just what I needed today
Amazing how the Lord always send what we need.
Abundant blessings and hugs
Elizabeth

Thanks for sharing this moment of your garden growing with us. I really miss having one its such alot of fun to watch how fast things grow, specially after a kiss from the rain does the trick every time. A delight to read.

I really like this poem Emy. Great message about sustainability and there were a lot of other good things as well, including the imagery and the structure. I liked the poem and I thought it was good. Keep up the doing.
