stop yelling.
I can't stand
the sound.
It makes me
cringe & shudder
& want to kill myself.

Swallowing down
a clump, of all the
things I want to say,
but I know better
than to say them,
since you won't listen
anyway.

Why can't you and
Momma, just go get
some help? Instead
of all this yelling &
making our lives hell.

I want to be happy
like that day we went
to the park. In that
photograph we are
all smiling. Why aren't
we like that anymore?

This reminds me a lot of Pink's 'Family Portrait'.

That's good, btw. I love that song.

I can relate to this very much.

I like the simplicity of this, it really does sound as if it is being read through a child's eyes.

Great write,
*hugs*

after readin some of your other poems, i think you could have done better with this subject matter, this one didnt flow as well as usual, and sounded a bit false, or forced.
i hope you dont mind my comments, but i appreciate critisim as well as praise and i hope you do to. i do like a lot of your work :-)

Depressing, but it happens more than people like to believe.
