It has caused so much suffering, so many fears.
Children run in the streets, trying to find their way home,
The village is now unrecognizable and they're all alone.
Mothers search for their children, not knowing of their fate,
They're wondering if they're still alive or if it's too late.
Buildings collapse around people, falling on passers by,
Many have given up, they don't care if they die.
No one can escape from the screams and the pain,
The fights are pointless, there is nothing to gain.
So many lives lost, it's not over there will be more,
All because of different views -that's what caused this war.

religion and politics, huh? both often suck, and they are both just excuses to start wars... i'm with you on this one, it's all meaningless and it's all murder,

Well expressed, on a subject that is, unfortunately becomming an everyday occurence.
