Work so hard to each day to achieve,
Sacrifices we sometimes make
Do we learn from our mistakes,

Is sadness just a learning curve,
And is happiness what we deserve,
Does crying ease the wretched pain,
Or does it make us strong again,

Does pride become before a fall,
Does self importance make us tall,
Are we so blind we cannot see,
The beauty in this world there be,

So what is life , what is its reason,
Is there a point, in every season,
Is it a sin, or is it a blessing,
Is life for living, or am I just guessing? [comments] => 7 [counter] => 200 [topic] => 43 [informant] => jerseysue [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

Nice Sue.... If that tuly be your name.... Dame! He, he, he.
I liked it
It asked some real questions
with a nice
Smooth poetic blend
And isn't that we want to achieve
In the end?
Or maybe that's just me....

Sorry, I'm upset that I couldn't do my "Flowers" poem, because this site is so idiotic, it recorded one poem I wrote twice! Aaaarrghhh! (Sorry for rhyming I mean)

interesting musings, sue..

A very poetic query into the meanings of life,
and the point, therein. I love the last line. That
sorta sums it all up, doesn't it?

Live. It's not enough to just exist ..

Fantastic. reminded me a little of my "fly free" poem. Brilliant last lines,

Is it a sin, or is it a blessing,
Is life for living, or am I just guessing?

I suppose we don't really know what we're doing, we can just..live, and hope it all works out...

great write, loved it,
