Singing an eerie song
And what’s worse
The rocks were singing along
I knew immediately
This was all wrong
I threw off my blanket
And it complained
“Don’t you know it’s early
And I have to lay here all day?!”
Like the jerk you are
You don’t care anyway

I looked at it in wonder
Then I said, okay
There’s something wrong with my head…
Okay, I’m still sleeping
YEAH! That’s it! I said
And this is something nasty I ate
In the morning things will be all right
And my blanket will have slept tight
The trees? Well they’ll be trees innate

So I went and peed, then I took a drink
And I looked in the mirror
But looking back it wasn’t me
And I screamed
But the mirror straightened me out
What’s YOUR problem it said
I said I’m not sure
I thought I was dead
Man, and I mean man
You always were dead
Constantly, while styling your head
You kept staring at my face
Like it was something you dreadI [comments] => 2 [counter] => 240 [topic] => 68 [informant] => twbanter [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => fictional )
