I feel a sense of never endin' violence,
In this land of broken silence.
A land filled with tyrants.
Gang battles are bein' fought,
People are gettin' caught,
Lessons are bein' taught.
But that aint enough,
Start actin' tough,
And treat them rough.
Inocent civilians are gettin' caught in da crossfire,
These gangsta's we can't admire.
We've gotta try with all our might,
Stoppin' them gunnin' down people durin' da night,
You know it's an ugly sight,
Givin' innocent kids a fright,
Don't give up da fight,
Changes ain't gonna be happenin' overnight,
Here ma plight,
You know I'm right.
I'm rappin' this rhyme to let ya know that it's wrong,
Gang battles have been goin' on for far too long,
I ain't lying',
People are dyin'.
All we want is peace,
Wantin' these gang battles to cease,
Before da gangsta's kill ma niece,
There on da increase,
We want them on da decrease,
I'd be da one puttin' gangsta's on a leash.
Lockin' them up in jail,
Without fail,
They'd never get bail.
Wantin to slit their wrists with a knifes,
To extinguish their life's.
Da only thing they leave behind is their legacy,
In a land full of democracy.

Not my usual cup of tea, but a fascinating read nonetheless.
Well done.
