[bodytext] => Emerald doves fly From her eyes They fly threw The endless blue skies Until they happen To perch within mine Thus showing me the world Within a whole new light A light of beauty and elegance And oh what a beautiful sight! Then fly white doves From her pale and perfect body They surround me And lift me over the sea Carrying me off my island Of isolation and sadness And into the graceful land From which the emerald doves Had graciously let me see Oh how could this be? Then comes my answer As the ruby doves fly From the soft beat Of the kindest heart And they fly to me Tearing apart my heart So it can become stronger And it rebuilds it anew Whenever she whispers the words “I love you” -Channing- [comments] => 0 [counter] => 191 [topic] => 2 [informant] => Channing [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
