But yet we're captivated ~~

Like little radars working hard
For our daily foods
Little radars in a bigger project
Larger than your mind can grasp

Our daily routines, done without a thought
Part of this project no one knows
Are we all so oblivious and blind,
Cant we see this bigger scheme at all?

Sheeps of God we're called
Where thy go we shall go
Follow our leader to there and back
All our trust in one man

What is this, cant we think for ourselves?
Live and let live, be proud of one another
We all do what we know best
Just live your life and be free

Forgive me Father, for I am being me
Living me life as it suits me fine
I dont wish to be a follower
A following Sheep of God...

We all certainly have the right to our own thoughts-n-feelings.
I don't do religion but I'm tottally into God.
My honest oppinon is that most but not all religion hurts more than it helps.
huggs,
emy
I'm 100% certain that I'm Jesus kid but other than that I claim to know nothing.
Great writing.

sweetheart, I have been there, if only I could impart some of my past writings, I read today, I was so wrong, so, so wrong.. I even went as far in my life writings as saying God is in all that I think and do, and how wrong was I. Now listen to me, not sure how old are you, but that does not matter, age 5 or 100.. let me tell you... document your feelings, as you have in this poem, read it again in 4 to 5 yrs, or 15 as I have, and you will see your total changes of dislike.. I pray you do not cringe as I have for my own beliefs, written... you know, we all go through life in stages.. I am not a very knowledgable person, but I am a very wisdomic person in a way that I know. I will not tell you my secret on that one.. but I will tell you this.. trust in your own heart. and then take that heart and place it in a secure place.. and do you know where that is? If not.. do as I have done, ask out loud, on paper, to anyone who will listen to you.. or simply this... expect to find yourself later in writings, and smile, do not cringe, for you see what I have told you.. it will come to pass. rl.. go now. be well.. love you as my brethren...

  • Powerful write.

Personally, I'm not quite sure yet what to make of religion and all,
I know I definitely believe in God - but I can understand what you mean about being sheep.

I think it happens not only in religion, but also in daily life, especially with the media.
People just believe anything they hear, it's like being spoonfed.

Anywho though.. thankies for the thought-provoking poem this morning Nats.

    *hugglies*

    Kat.

Thought provoking write Nats.Isn't it funny how we all believe in God and yet we don't all appear to believe in the same God.
How many times has religion been the cause of fighting and war........whatever happened to "love your fellow man ?".
Perhaps there is more to be said for living your own life.
    Steve
