Outhouse -back door barn.
The pigs in the pen have been let loose.
ANIMAL FARM- the golden noose.
Church doors locked in fear.
Drug addict with a gun to my ear.
Paper said,"NOTHING TO FEAR".
a [ WAR STAR } baby I hear.
Leaving in my gold plated LEAR.
Nothing just that inner fear.
Something aint right in AMERICA.
Law without any fear.
Crooks run the country today.
Even show movies how they play.
I pay taxes-maybe a fools way.
Electronic fixed vote-whats my say.
I pay taxes whats to more to say.
Dead soon-just lifes ways.
Smell comming from some dark hell.
JESUS is my savior-a forgotten church bell. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 324 [topic] => 11 [informant] => poewhit [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ChristianPoetry )

This is different! I like it, because it is just my style ;) It seems to be a dark sort of poem, but the sad truth is that it is not the poem that is dark, but the subject itself. How can you paint a pretty picture (even a fake one) of something that is black and almost to the point of no return? We are strangers in a strange land, and one day we will return home. ;)
