It's the simple things in life I forgot
Why I made something so easy so complicated?

Searching for the one thing right in front of me
But I couldnt see it

Steady chasing my own purgatives and pleasure
So focused on my happiness I lost touch with reality

I had a great thing, something real
How ignorant and downright stupid could I have been?

I finally realized, only too late
I was chasing a dime but losing a majestic jewel

I was a fool
You were my lady!

So blinded that you moved on right before my eyes
Yet I wont let this be the thing Ill always regret, NO

It's right here and always will be right there
In our hearts
