Somewhere beautiful and happy, you see.
I wish I was somewhere warm, with blue skies
With oceans as far as my eyes can see.

I wish I was on the beaches of Hawaii
Or in the Tuscan hills of Italy.
I wish I was on Mount Madalena
Living life so peacefully.

I wish I could walk through Napa Valley
Or the see the whales in Cape Cod
I wish I could swim at Lazaretto
Or watch birds in Taiwan.

I just wish I could leave everything
And go without a care or a fear
I would go everywhere and anywhere
Anywhere but here.

I sometimes wish I was on a different planet, but yeah it is a good poem, capture the feeling of wanting to leave everything behind. Sometimes just the thought of being somewhere else is comforting.

Great Idea for a poem, with listing all these beautiful places
Some parts aren't quite perfect, wether due to rithm or rhyme, but there isn't a single poem out there anyway
The ending in my humble opinion is the best part

Australia's another sunny place - you should add that to your list! It's beautiful done here - just keep away from Adelaide! I've been in Adelaide for 13 years and so can't wait to be anywhere else!
Very clever poem and the rhyme!
