a kingdom bound in ice
silently and distantly
by fire light she stands

Her hair long and black
pupils a vampiric white
frozen crystal of her eyes
melting with his memory

Among the snowy pines
the ancient teeth with hunger loom
immensity in silhouette
a Dragon in the cold and mist

Her stare defines hatred
and yet the giant only laughs
as she stumbles toward him
her lovers heavy sword she drags

Falling to her knees
upon the snow of frozen day
Grieves for the vampyre King
this Dragon has destroyed

The creatures towers above
A red beast of awesome power
She a fragile blackened heart
kneeling there before him

The Dragon grins pitiless
Yet 'neath the womans bowed head
eyes of pale deceptive power
open now with vengeance

The sword flashes upward
enchanted blade of sorcery
puncturing the massive throat
the giant thrashes violently

Quiet then engulfs the trees
the snow falls with silent sorrow
a vampyre kneels in widow black ,
a cold giant bleeding red

I'm thrilled with this twist of the vampire mistress and the dragon! It came together perfectly. Loved it start to finish! MORE !!
