My eyes are still blue crystal
- the grey storm hasnt taken over
and although Im against the walls
- Im not claustrophobic
an odd shape, no doubt
- but a window acts as a mirror
- as an escape!
so it isnt all bad
and at least I wake
- with an amusing word or two
at the end of the line, no doubt
no-one catches the train this far
but at least the birds are still here
- not evicted by monkey
and Im with the small and wild
- with one foot in cement
but this is all great
- life recharges me
- the books improve me
layer on layer each day
more alive each day
needing no mirror, promise or love token
the game is for the player
life is for the living
I am a living creature
- without a rule book
be honest
needing no mirror
- or metaphor
or dont catch the train
- to the end of the line.

| very refreshing poem..im the type that wont ever make a reservation..ild rather be surprised by each moment ,,,definitely never want the "catch the train to the end of the line" |
