Array ( [sid] => 127134 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => A Helpless Child [time] => 2006-10-19 13:57:04 [hometext] => Sometimes you want to help a friend in need, yet often there is nothing you can do.People say that it is good to talk, but even that doesn't always seem to help. For a friend, I hope she can find some comfort in this [bodytext] => No magic wand do I posess, nor power to summon the simple things
That such as I discard from thought as perfectly routine
The world you seek from your empty cage
Do I take for granted like the air I breathe ?

I know the demons that dance in your mind, though second hand and watered down
Chains heaped on hope, the nemesis to keep you as a slave
The outside veneer appearing whole, not cracked to the idle glance
Yet inside in your snowglobe hell, you are shaken and confused

You speak of those you have trusted past, invested hours of wasted time
Of recent friends who lies once more throw feelings on the raging fire
The daily fight, the face made brave
For those too young to understand

Now white flag raised, will it stand or fall?, What destiny awaits ?
How can the soil be purfied, when all around is dirt
These desert raindrop words I give cannot produce a seed
So I succumb to emptiness, like you a helpless child

you truely care about your friend, you're a one-of-a-kind person, everyone should have a friend like you by their side
