Road…
Losing all my sense of thought,
Sense of time…
The wind sings a melody so soft,
And whisper sweet songs unto
Me...
I wander down this long winding
Road..
With angels guiding my feet,
Protecting my spirit with its
Song…
Softly it fills and entangles my
Mind, my spirit..
As I drink the evening air..
I come to the end of my road
As the universe shrouds its
Beauty upon me..
While the spurs of the night
Sparks beckon me..
My soul cries out….
Yes!
As the colors of the night
Spills over....
In all its beauty....

I liked how this poem became really focused, it started with quite a wide view of a person walking along a road, then it focues in the person's head and mind, and then their soul. And as it does so the reader gradually becomes more entwined with this person and what they are feeling. The euphoria felt at the end is shared with the reader. That is how I felt when I read this anyway.

A peaceful and enjoyable read, thank you,

Dom
