Forever never seems forever until you’re gone.
With all those laughs and giggles that I will always savour for the rest of my life.
Sitting there reminiscing of childhood, the time when we used to play with food
And all mum could do is scold.

She could never pay attention to us until she was told.
That always made feel cold.
Dad walked in with his head shaven bold.
He smells like ****, but did anyone have the guts to ask him anything?

He’s just had a fight at the pub.
When he walked into the house I always felt like jumping onto him like a lion with his cub.
Instead he just gave me the snub.
That day he died in the bath tub.

I can picture it now when mum broke the door down.
He died with a frown.
I always thought he was the man with the crown, the king of the house.
Mum still didn’t have an expression of sorrow on her face, which baffled me.

The next day after his funeral my new daddy was delivered, it was the postman that came in for tea.
