Between machine and the tormentor, and you then found your place
The boy has matured, into one of a kind
His heart shined openly, and love he did find
Happiness found, but emptiness there
Waiting, and hoping, for a saddened stare
Complacent and lazy, with no one to fight
Fattened by security, and no sleepless nights
The sickness occurred, over a period of time
Never saw it coming, never knew it was a crime
Armour rusted by years of neglect
Defenses were weakened by a dangerous sect
An oasis of pleasure, an orgy of seduction
Fooled you into letting go, and started self destruction
Weapons locked away, cause there's no need to fight
And then the darkness came, and engulfed your light
Vinelike wiring weaved into your mind
And destroyed what you built, your soul you can't find
Engulfed by darkness, no trace to the eye
Blood replace by circuitry, you've started to die

The warrior, once proud, encased in a glass prison
Plugged in as a slave to a cyberworld
Held captive by pleasure, unable to fight
Can't tell the difference between day and night
Defenses lulled into a sense of security by seductive thoughts
Every defense and weapon was turned off
While the sickness infected his mind, and he got off
A coma of pleasure numbs his reflexes
And the wiring becomes more a part of him now
Emotionless, but not because of anger
Numb because of pleasure, and the defenses get weaker
Intimacy lost, his wife and child the cost
If this darkness isn't stopped, all will be lost
