Breaking the ice and you can't hear the sound

It's great seeing double, life times two
Such a graceful, silly sophisticated view

Get in the car and you like to drive fast
Fall in the bar and you never look back

Hold your head and you'll cry in your hands
Stand on the top and make your own plans

The city is dull and my birthday isn't until next year
The ceiling is plain and there's nobody here

Fly through the clouds, catch some wisp in your eye
Drown in oblivion but don't tell a lie

Losing your keys, you step into the sun
You want to escape and you know it would be fun

Breaking a finger, scraping your knee
Humble gestures, I wish you'd bump into me

Caught by a twister, dancing waves of grain
The midwest is beneath me, I'm flying again

Take a picture, take a chance
I'd love it if you'd say yes to a dance

Tank on empty, your hands feel dry
I'd read you a story and not even tell you who its by

Take a look around, make sure you know its me
Grab your silly costume, be whatever you wanna be

WOW great poem a true beauty...the whole poem is amzing i love the part where it says

"Get in the car and you like to drive fast
Fall in the bar and you never look back"

i think it is great when a poem puts you in a place you remember and wow you put life in words!
