Angels whisper in my ear,
"Even the immortal die"
And far surpass my deepest fear,
This, my demise to verify.

Demons crawl within my mind,
Their curses to inscribe,
These curses with my blood, combined,
My words cannot describe.

A battleground for things beyond,
I wish for all to cease,
My thoughts of death are growing fond,
For all I want is peace.

Still my death shall not arrive,
They say `tis not my time,
So through this pain I stay alive,
A vessel for the muse's rhyme.

Beyond Heaven and Hell

The muses whisper in my head,
Composing wretched songs,
And forced to write the things they've said,
To them my soul belongs.

Angels whisper in my ear,
