Goodnight Leila,
close your weary eyes.

Let the struggles
of a lifetime
slip away

No more teardrops,
only peaceful sleep.

'Til the dawning
of a new
and better day

Dream of laughter,
dance upon a star.

Cast the shackles
of this mortal
life aside

Goodnight Leila,
we will meet again.

Somewhere there
within the vast
celestial tide

A very beautiful good-bye to a dear friend. I hope they find peace in the great beyond. Its true that life is too hard for some of us at times, and thats when we lose great friends. A peaceful and sad poem.

Good work.

A somber, yet delicate and tender good bye.
Perhaps until "we meet again" rather then good bye. I really enjoy the peaceful and gentle tone.

Again that heart felt qualit y.

Well done sir,

Will
