[bodytext] => I ask myself “Why does this always happen?” I promise myself that I won’t do it again, But I always end up back where it began. We hang out, everything is fine, Until you find yourself thinking about that certain guy. That guy that won’t accept you the way you want him to The guy that won’t look at you the way you wish he would. So then I find myself asking “Why do I bother when I’m forgotten?” The promise of ever lasting friendship And to always be there for each other is now blotted But then I wipe my tears and tell myself to shut up, Just so I’ll stop thinking about how it feel to be messed up. So messed up that I blame me For ever thinking that we Could be friends the way we used to be.
