Array ( [sid] => 128540 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => A Futile Escape [time] => 2006-11-21 23:34:02 [hometext] => You'd have to read The Masque of the Red Death by Edger Allan Poe to really grasp this. It was my friend's homework that I did for him with him writing some lines xD. I enjoyed writing it :p [bodytext] => By: Kevin Chung and Charlie Prum

A demonic red is the latest fashion
And its wearer receives no compassion
Yet it is worn against the owner's will
As the dreadful clothing begins to kill

For when you hear the clothing's surprise
You'll know that it's lead to manys demise
All will die but a thousand hidden in a castle
With Prince Prospero at the lead of avoiding this hassle

A masquerade he threw, to entertain his guests
In order to ease all of their stress
All who were expected came dressed
But not the one known as the fearful red death

He came hidden in a cloak of disguise
With everyone not knowing to say their goodbyes
All had sought sanctuary; an escape from death
But it is inevitable they will soon take their last breath

For no one can escape death's eye
Even if they ran, they will all one day still die [comments] => 1 [counter] => 218 [topic] => 8 [informant] => MyNameIsJonas [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => AmericanTragedy )
