im stuck in this confinement,
my mind wont let me out,
i drive myself crazy,
my thoughts spin about.
what keeps my sanity here,
i truly do not know,
will it stay with me forever,
i do not believe so.
it reminds me of a well,
i got to close and i fell in,
into the cold dark water,
where i learned i couldnt swim.
i kicked and screamed,
and scratched the walls within,
as i panicked i then realized,
my breath was running thin.
motionless i float,
in the depths of this dark place,
how long before i leave here,
was simply not the case.
as i close my eyes,
i see this gleaming shine,
its the image of the beauty,
i once could call mine.
now im back to square one,
its the begining allover again,
ill wake up soon and realize,
what we have could never end.
