Array ( [sid] => 128972 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => emotions [time] => 2006-12-03 04:17:35 [hometext] => this poem is about my father who left before i was born [bodytext] => the pain that i feel
all the time
the pain that i feel
is deep inside
nothin i can do but just let it stay
but the pain that you cause will end someday

you were a coward
the way you deserted me
you just couldn't be a man
you just had to flee

emotions, run wild in my mind
for the love that i have to find

emotions, that will never die
but i'll be damned if you make me cry

its been 19 years
since you said goodbye
the love you two had was wrapped in lies

just to hear your voice
to talk to you
would mean the world to me
cause it would all be new

you dont know what its like to grow up this way
my only question is
WHY COULDN'T YOU STAY

emotions, run wild in my mind
for the love that i have to find

emotions, that never die
but i'll be damned, i'll be damned,
damned if i ever cry

these emotions they just wont end
these bars on my heart may never bend

my emotions, brought on by you
i only pray that you feel the pain for what you did to me too. This is very sad but awesomly touching.
I admire you for writing this.
Both my parents are deceased but they stuck to gether thru 8 kids and many trials.
I will pray that he makes that phone call and reads this.
A person sometimes don't understand why we do the things we do but there's always, faith, hope etc. Sounds like you are willing to give it a try.
Very touching write and any one that reads will have no choice but will be touched.
Hang tuff and God bless you endlessly.
luv, huggs, prayer,
emy

stength in voice, and in truth your voice, you are right.
but venture in the point
cuz some never ment to leave
but left was done
even though left was wrong
left was took

none by you

things were much
more than you should endure
and i am sorry

i now realize
the pain isn't what i left
but what i should of prevented

never wanted you
to feel the ache

but today my eyes see

i was wrong

for the pain i tried to stop
is there

reguardless

I Know Now
i just left you

to deal with the feeling alone

baby

it's my fault

I Should of been Strong

You wrote on a subject of pain with much class. I am with Em on this. I think at times ppl deal with things in different ways.Get scared and eun so to say. You may find him once more and you can start life a new right now. I never believe it is to late to mend fences and find love within a family .

this was written well...You can start anew now..something that i have come to learn ...you do not need any of the ppl who walked out on your life, or who were never in your life to begin with...there is a reason for everything as well...you would not be the same person you are now if he hadn't walked out....take pride in who you can be without him...be strong, and become an amazing person, if for nothing else, just to be able to say..."hey..i didn't need you..now look at what your missing..look at the amazing person i am...and i did it all without you." ...
