To take away your sorrow
Anything to let you know
I’ll love you each tomorrow

I want to tell you how I feel –
When I look into your eyes
A place of safety I can go
Resembling heavens’ skies

I want to spend my life with you –
Through times of thick and thin
As long as you are by my side
There’s nothing we can’t win

I want to make you recognize –
Your heart is made of gold
A son of God, my other half
Together ‘til we’re old

Then I will take you by the hand –
In that Celestial realm of glory
To live forever with my love

I really enjoyed this poem. I do hope that you give this to him. I know for sure that he will enjoy it as much as most of the poets that read it on here will.

Keep writing like this.
