Array ( [sid] => 129272 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => A Cool Change in Summer [time] => 2006-12-11 07:49:15 [hometext] => Okay, the girl I've written plenty about re-entered my life today. We talked... I'm more messed now than ever about the whole thing. [bodytext] => Today was a strange day
after a week of growing heat
the wind changed a refreshing change
and today you and I had to meet

Such trivial things we mortals do
now, with puffy eyes, you came back
you talked the small thoughts of my heart
and apologised for all things you lack

The breeze came again
as it always did with you
and for once you let me in
emotional moments – all too few

But you plead again
for your tears not to fall like rain
like water off a ducks back
just listen, listen to you inner pain

Yet inside I know things I won’t say
this is indeed a strange new day

In my secret and fragile heart
I know you were my source of art

You made me the best I could
for you, anything? I would

But for once I’m the silent one
trying to tell you that you must run…

Such a strange and confusing day
inner things seem to live anew
yet I have so little left to say
now, finally before the honest you

And still, we manage to find a way
we say things beneath a cover
this is a refreshing and wonderful day
we cannot live without the other.

I am sure you must be very confused indeed! A great write, you did well in stating your feelings, and I really like the imagery you used to explain what is going on in your heart. Wonderful write!
