oops

within
this heart
is mourning
sorrow ever taking
away from lifes
essence of youth
witheld is yet to follow
emotions never shown
feelings taken all too
lightly for you
I need you now
more than ever
to show that
promises are kept
and your lies have been
washed away by tears
of pain and joy
left in your eyes for
me to die and bathe in
ever so
hypothetically
this mind is
filled with profound
thoughts
not yet to be given away
or to be bought
by malice instilled
in your soul
your forever seeking
truth in words and
belief noone will
give you
until your gone and
locked away with
the truth
to others it may
seem as lies
I am still here,
still standing
waiting to be
acknowledged for my
help in your
survival
yet m drowning in
questionable actions
which regret lies
upon my head
as a crown of
deceit
when will this
become
rationalizaion
to turn and face
the shards of
broken glass
to find.....
nothing
nothing I see
but wasted
existence and
regret staring
back at me
shame consumes
every thought
every opinion
of what I was
in that time I
lived to love
I came to yearn
for your every
word and still I
found such a
wrongly formed
conscience
a criminal
who stole
ones dignity and pride
to be left in awe of
this phenomenon or
rather catastrophe
of misconstruity
this anger became
the death of me
at times a rebirth
renaissance of
thought and
character
still left to stare
down gullability and
order
you think you may
need all that I am
to become
mislead and lost
in your mind
blinded by your
own actions
destroyed by lust
and favored by
immaturity
your being now locked away and stripped of your pride and
trustworthiness
I may miss
who you were
but yet im still
standing here
waiting for
your release

i really like this poem. it is a good write and i can connect on it with a lot of levels. i am going through a time similar to yours where i must be strong for the one i love so that she doesn't go through pain or more stress. she knows that i love her and she loves me but we are not together for there is another who is destroying everything so i am being patient biding my time waiting for the right moment to unleash everything i have kept inside .
